More award success for ‘Off the Run’

The REA enjoyed a big round of applause on Friday 4 March at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow, when ‘Off the Run’ magazine picked up the ‘Best Stakeholder Publication’ at the Institute of Internal Communications (IOIC) Scotland annual awards. This is the second time that OTR has won at this prestigious event.

Joe Harkins was delighted with the award saying: “Winning an IOIC award for the second time in five years is amazing. The judges were very fulsome in their praise of our magazine which they said ‘reaches the heart of the fire service community in Scotland’.

It is heartening to know that our creative efforts, our style, our well written, emotive articles and our family atmosphere are appreciated, not only by REA members and SFRS but also by the Scottish professional magazine community and the IOIC in particular. Off the Run now has a proud record that compares to any publication.”
